2021 KY Opener

Finally after 2 long years of trying to kill a deer with a Traditional Bow everything finally came together tonight. He is not one of my 3 target bucks but he was one I said I would not turn down if given the opportunity. He is no were close to my biggest but I am just as proud!!! This trad hunting is NO joke and not for the faint of heart. But I can tell you that I doubt if I’ll shoot another deer in KY with a wheel bow….unless he’s just a stud of a buck. LoL.

Big thanks to Matt Blalock for the helping getting him out and sharing the excitement and to Tom Jenkins with Zipper Bows for making a Fabulous Recurve Bow and helping me get started in this new addiction of bow hunting. Better pics to come but this will do for now…

Wow! What a great trophy and great kill with trad gear. Congrats. We need to hear the story of the hunt though. That's the best part.
