2021 WI Saddle Hunter Meetup - August 28th

Tethrd will be at Deerfest in West Bend in August. My guess is they would have ESS saddles to try there. Of the people that have signed up for the meetup so far, No one listed that they are bringing an ESS.
 
Meetup is just a few weeks out. Chad Rice from Cruzr offered up another sweet giveaway this year.

There will be at least one Hunting Beast team member there with their stand and sticks and a possible giveaway so we’ll call this a mobile hunter meetup / demo day now.

As reported above, DanO from Eastern Woods Outdoors is coming over from Michigan with all his goodies and knowledge.

Mark Dohring will be bringing his wide array of goodies. He pretty much has 1 of everything so always good to see him.

I had a chat with Karl K. From Tethrd at Deerfest last night and they will have wrapped up their event circuit by then so at this point, it doesn’t look like they will be sending anything our way.

Dane from Dryad opted out this year as they are in the middle of a move.

Jamie from Overwatch outdoors will probably send up some stuff for us to try out.

Still chatting with Latitude outdoors although I know their saddles will be well represented

Reminder to hit the signup link in the first post if you haven’t already done so so we have a good idea how many people might be coming.

Special shout-out to everyone that offered up goodies and everyone that is bringing their knowledge to share. This is shaping up to be a awesome event.

Reminder that Sherwood Forest has a great 3D course so bring your bow and head out to shoot the course after you are done hanging with us.

Hello all, what does the turn out seem to be right now? Was thinking of making the trip from Nashville Tn to hang out and see what you guys do way up there. I am also working with DRYAD SADDLES (Dane Waldman ) would you care if I bring one of his saddles for you to check out. It’s about a nine hour drive for me so was checking first before I show up.

There are 18 people signed up at this point but I’m expecting walk ups also from the people that were coming out for the 3D shoot that swing by to check us out. It would be great to have a Dryad there to check out since it is so different from anything else out there. I agreed with Dane that it is important for someone that knows how to use his product to demo it so people don’t walk away with wrong perceptions. Sounds like you would fit the bill of a knowledgeable user.
 
Dang wish this was a few days earlier, between a fishing trip and going to Kentucky for the opener there's no way ill make it. Maybe next year.

I also had my cart ready last night and placed my order this morning so you are not alone.
 
Got an email confirmation that the 3D shoot will be $15 for adults and $10 for kids. That price entitles you to shoot as much as you want all weekend. The saddle meetup itself is free. Saddle meetup attendees are not obligated to shoot the 3D course but it is a fun time so I do encourage it.

I will be there from 8-4 with my gear. My guess is 9-2 will be the time window when most guys will be there and you will have the most options to try out.
 
This is not directly saddle related, but does anyone planning on coming have a lone Wolf hand climber? The whole stand. I’m thinking about buying one as my non saddle option and want to try it out.
