2022 Bows...Wish List & Expectations

I just caved and bought a elite remedy off the classified. Simplicity of tuning. No top hats or mods to switch. Over my vertix. I love my spectra E so far and enjoy the cams for draw change and stops. The elite should be about the same. I’ve noticed many more 32”+ bows coming out it seems and brace height added. I like the route some manufacturers are taking to make a more friendly bow.

i was between elite and bowtech this year, and had to go with bowtech because none of the elite hunting bows with set tech had over a 6.5 inch brace height

i hope elite puts set tech on a 32 inch ata bow with a 7 inch brace height, they'd sell a butt ton of them

Brace height I like but I favor larger ata for sure. My vertix seemed twitchy. I grab my el cheapo quest thrive and it feels solid and sturdy + drives tacks. Same with my Darton. Though the Darton would probably feel awesome with a 7”. As it stand though. No real huge breakthroughs. I’ll keep digging in classifieds for flagship deals.

Love my Spectra E as well. Did you see the 2022 has even wider limbs and pockets now and an even stiffer riser material and the 1/4" axles? The yokes are so easy to tune too. I had bullet holes in three shots. Added a new sight and tight spot quiver to mine this year as well. Its faster than my Chill R too which was Matthews speed bow in 2014.

Same here but went with bowtech because nobody had an elite in the store, and I ain’t buying that cow without tasting the milk, but everybody could order one for me.

Solution. But since timing was going to be close I had the string replaced on my old Bear. To be honest I’m torn. Each has pros and cons. Solution is fast-fast, with a better draw cycle, and I can hold it forever. But the Encounter is light and I’m more accurate since I’ve shot it for so long. I think in a few months it won’t be as tough a decision.

i'm similar, my old bow was a bear traxx and is now my backup, but i can shoot it better than i can my new bowtech revolt
