Nice!

What are the best OTC states in your opinion?
I dont know. I guess it would depend on what you're wanting to do. For instance, half a dozen of us have a lease in South Alabama and its pretty great hunting the rut in feb when most everything in CO has been done for a long time. The license isn't as cheap as it once was but there is lots of opportunity as the season is long, bag limits are high and critters abound. Ive been pretty spoiled as most of my OTC out of state hunting has been on private ground through friends and second home neighbors.

Are we shooting for a new truck again??
Depends who’s sponsoring this contest. If contestants are supplying the prize: 150 contestants would require at least a $500 entrance fee. At that rate the odds would be stacked in your favor. No one wants to share a truck with 10 guys that are all spread across the continent.

Might take a couple days to drive it to the next player! That type of contest might promote some poaching! You know it costs more now to poach an egg than to poach a deer.....

Sounds like blacksmith needs to take the blacktail challenge....I love when my whitetail brethren move here and think they are just going to go out and get a buck.i get years of enjoyment out of it.if you live east of the Mississippi and can acomplish this 1pure columbia blacktail buck in 1 season....which took Jim Shocky 3 years in guided hunts for bench legs in the open country of northern calli not the rainforest cliff country of the northern Oregon coast...you just win the contest hands down.
