Anyone use the LWCG new double compacts yet? How’s the new attachment method?

Looks like a design flaw. The cam buckle strap looks to be cracking/breaking the Tethrd CFX where it crosses….eeek!

Ok, if this happens to anyone, and it gets fixed like this, then at least jb weld an aluminum angle bracket on both sides of the post. That's what I'd do i I had one and didn't have the other materials I have.

Or if you have a CFX and it doesn't yet have fractures in this area use some 3M 5200 to adhere a flat piece of aluminum on either side of the post which is thicker than the recess in the post.

I'd be concerned with the adhesion of JB with this material without some roughing up and even then...

I'd clean the area each side of the post first with alcohol and 5200 isn't going anywhere once it cures and is somewhat structural on its own.

Not sure if these came out this year but anyone looked into the Image Stabilzed Binos?

Was scouting for ducks today and thought they could come in handy

The sig image stab binos are badass. I have the 12x. Narrower FOV but stability is great. They aren't a $5000 pair of true gyro stab binos but I use mine on the boat tuna fishing as well and its a huge improvement over standard binos.
