2024 Trail Camera Thread

The day I've been waiting for happened last night. This deer and I have been doing the Tango the last two years. I missed him at a spot in 2022 by one day. Last year I consistently had him across multiple cams but couldn't connect with him all season.

Last night he finally showed up. I'm guess 4.5 years old.

Hes not a giant, but this deer survived that many seasons in some of the most infested orange army woods in PA. How he did it blows my mind. Very special deer to me. I found his sheds last season so even if I can't nab him I'll always have his sheds to remember him.

I saw this buck I call “The Blade” or just “Blade” maybe twice on camera during the entire season and never saw him on this particular property until late October or early November. Here he beds down right in front of the camera for over two hours last night/this morning!

Cool pic of piebald deer fawn. It's on large tractimage 1.JPG of public. If I get more pics I will post. Hope he or she makes it.

What’s up with this buck? He looks malnourished or something

We can’t have anything here like that to draw the deer. We can have food plots etc. but nothing you can just put out besides lures. I wish we could at least have mineral licks during the off season for inventory purposes.

The farmers cut the corn early this year. They finished a day ago so I took the tractor to bush hog the grass around our goose pit. Saw a bunch of buzzards and a couple of eagles flying around the field so I went to investigate and found the 11 we'd been watching. Can't tell what happened. We had his pic a week ago.
