The SH Membership has gone live. Only SH Members have access to post in the classifieds. All members can view the classifieds. Starting in 2020 only SH Members will be admitted to the annual hunting contest. Current members will need to follow these steps to upgrade: 1. Click on your username 2. Click on Account upgrades 3. Choose SH Member and purchase.

Redsquirrel is an assassin.
At the risk of sounding like I'm sucking up to the boss, I agree, @redsquirrel is an assassin. Honestly I'd happily be on his team in spite of the "Redsquirrel Curse". For me the contest has very little to do with winning, its more about the camaraderie and sharing my season with the virtual hunting camp. Every year @redsquirrel has multiple adventures and he's excellent at sharing the details . . . i.e. His story telling is very good. I'd share a camp with him anytime . . . curse or not.
I found a spot tonight holding deer. I Just gotta figure out how to access it.
I was walking to climb the the local ski hill this morning and thought I was about to get attacked by a doe. As I walked down the trail to the steps I walked by her and her two fawns inside 10 yds. None of them ran and the doe actually laid her ears back and looked aggressive, enough so I didn't turn my back on her as passed by her.

Looks like you’ve got several nice permanent ground blinds to choose from.
I'd dig a pit blind myself!
A week after I signed up last year we had a dust up at work and two managers were let go so I had to wear multiple hats and didn’t set foot in the woods all season. I was promoted to the old man seat at the end of the year so now that the dust has settled I’m hoping to get out in the woods. Just being in the woods would be enough, harvesting a critter would be the cherry on top. Need the reset.

Some good spot and stalk opportunities there. Plenty of low cover, and you could get one of those big floral sprays and hold it out in front of you and sneak right up on one.

Well I debated few days ago on joining up, yesterday evening had my #1 target buck at 50 yards and closing, along with 3 others in the same Batchelor group, and a damn flock of egrets flew by low overhead and spooked the crap out of them, and they left. So yep, curse is real, I ain't joining lol
Must have been on our team.

That usually drops in a couple of weeks. If someone shoots something before teams are selected we will honor it in the contest.
I'm not sure how much opportunity I'll have to pull the trigger on a deer this season. These guys are ready to get after it this season. 
With the amount of hunters dying to get in there, I'd pick a different spot.
That's a win in itself man. Nice work.
Welp just secured a suburban property across the street from a spot I currently have that a lot of deer funnel out of.
