I’d imagine that even a key deer could thrash the hell out of someone if cornered…

They're pretty tame, but I'd imagine so too.

They are used to getting fed and stuff, some of them will come right up to ya.

Funny you mention this. An acquaintance of
mine recently was gored by a normally shy 2 yr old 11 pointer that he has for his deer scent business. He has several other deer. He’s still in the hospital.

He’s also a B&C/P&Y measurer and scorer.

He said that deer is normally super shy but he turned on him. Gored his leg bad and his chest. He was able to get out of the pen but as he was getting out the buck started to attack him again through the pen and he almost passed out a second time. He has
Now developed clots in his lungs as a result of the injury and surgeries.
