@tailgunner im surprised that you don’t use a mesh saddle of some kind with as wet as u get where you hunt. Would really reduce time to dry in between hunts but more importantly reduce weight in water ur carrying in the saddle when it gets wet

@tailgunner is a roofer, he’s gotta be used to a toolpouch = walking around with a heavy butt all day

All I know is that my rope was wet and I sat down too quickly (dynamically loading the hitch) and I slid about a foot or two down the tether inches from the end. It wouldn’t have taken much more to slide right off. It would also be stupid to slide right off. Tie a stopper knot, no exceptions on this one.

Its polyester it dont hold weight like nylon....or stink.mesh dosnt suport well.and gets pine needles in it
