Curious if anyone has these from Hang Free? Feedback?

In my experience amsteel is plenty tough to be a tether or linemans... I think you would need to stick to the prussics provided in this case as I'm not sure how well a mechanical ascender would work on amsteel or if it's even been tested... just a thought as some people would be used to mechanical tenders

Was looking at their other products and noticed they had a bridge made of PowerCord, which has a technora core, an aramid, which is known to be self abrasive. This type of rope used as a bridge has unexpectedly broke while in use in the past. The wear is mostly in the middle, the core gets thin, then breaks, all hidden by the cover. I contacted them, see how it goes.

We saw your email and got back with you! Thank you for your advice and concern, while we have not had that happen in testing or real life use in the past it is still something we will be looking into immediately. Although we have good feedback on the bridge in the past that does not mean it will work and function the same for all saddle hunters. In the mean time we will be taking down the bridge until we have re-tested the strength and longevity of the cordage particularly when used in a bridge configuration with a single/center point of contact.
