Currently I use a couple of loops of paracord hanging off my saddle and hang the sticks at my side for climbing. It's working well for when I climb but I can't carry into the woods like that. To carry them in I strap them to my pack and carry my bow or carry my sticks and strap my bow to my pack.

Ideally I could carry my sticks on a battle belt or my saddle so that I can simply shed my pack and start climbing when I get to a tree. Today I have to unwrap and attach the sticks to my saddle which takes at least 10 minutes at the base of the tree.

I've seen some products for snapping the sticks together and a hangar for the versa buttons but my god those are expensive and I don't think they would work for carrying while walking. Anyone have a method or device of carrying sticks on a belt for quickly getting up a tree and less setup time on the ground?

I have a thread on a company that makes these or is like the products you are refering to
TO be honest its a great idea but for me and how i like to keep it super simple i sent the product back and got a refund.
i use tent loops ( the ones with the ball on one end) they are place on each hip that keeps them form banging into each other its super simple too

Did you find a solution & what brand model sticks?

Hawk Helium sticks and a XOP 1" stick attached to OOAL Monarch platform

No I'm in the middle of moving my workshop and was going to work on something once that's back up and running. I've got a 3d printer and enough fabrication skills to put something together eventually. Currently I found some straps to snug them together instead of those cups that never worked for me.

I did buy a new pack from Mystery Ranch that is more versatile for carrying gear, the Treehouse 38 and I love it. Last hunt I strapped my sticks to the back and platform on the bottom. Transferred my sticks to my paracord loops on my hips when climbing then once I got to height, strapped my pack to the tree and unclipped my platform from the pack and hung it.

I’ve played around with Helium’s for yrs and just never came up with a good way to access them from a stacked position. Most of the time just ended up packing them in a single stick config. each side & one in the front.

This year I debated using different length pull up rope and leaving them on the ground! Trial run quickly nixed that idea. pretty amazing how tangled rope can get in the woods when dangling in the wind.
