Anybody use one for carrying platform and sticks? I just ordered one, I’m kind of a minimalist, so I don’t need a big bag, I got the 24L. Looks like I can strap 2 sticks on each side and platform to the front. Curious if anybody else is using one.

I use a 24l sandstone 5.11.

Shock cord for extra clothes up top, I put my platform inside along with my mini shikar, I have a water bottle pouch for reppell rope, and a 5 step aider for my single stick. Works great.

Ridge runner platform, tactisaddle gen 1, 8mm linemans and tether, doyles, Nalgene, and I can also fit my fhf chest harness for binos, medium size, I think vortex diamondback. Also have my mini shikar behind the ridge runner.

So after a couple weeks of tinkering since I got everything, this is what I settled on. Platform is inside the bag, I had it outside with the sticks tightly bungee corded to it, but it stuck out too far.

I have an almost identical pack called Red Rock that I bought at Scheels. My Ridgerunner fits inside nicely and my sticks strap to each side. I think I like it better than my C.A.Y.S pack.

Never weighed it, under 7# for sure. In a tree right otherwise id grab a fish scale.

Also, after 2020, the first place to cut weight is me.

I use a Hayley Strategic Flatpack Plus. Its light and gets the job done. 4 Beast sticks, Predator platform, straps, saw a few candy bars and water. Everything else I carry in my bino pack. I have plenty a room for more but that’s what I’m trying to avoid

I know it’s been a while but I finally weighed it, 21lb total, which I’m personally happy with. May be heavy for some.
