ok i use to be a right handed shooter an shot a trad bow for years an never had a chance to harvest a deer with it well i got into a four wheeler wreck an hurt my shoulder after it heald i couldnt shoot right handed any more so i had to learn to shoot lefty an man it was hard for me well the other evening my hard work is starting to pay off i shot a little doe at 7 yards its no moster but one of my best trophies i ever harvested means more than any deer i ever killed to date

In your opinion would it be easier to start with a right or left handed bow? I'll teach her to shoot both eyes open but i believe your dominant eyes still matters

That's a trophy deer in my opinion. There's no way I could shoot right handed. Way to overcome.

I am right handed but left eye dominant. I shoot right handed. I have to close the left eye or it takes over.

I'm raised right handed but brain says lefty(I think that's what right handed left eye dominant people are) I went with a lefty bow and never looked back wasn't sure at first but local bow shop said go lefty so I did!

When I was a kid my Dad saw I was shooting my BB gun left eyed and told me to switch to see if it felt better. I did and never looked back. I am so thankful he did. I will never forget that day. I have friends that learned in their 40s they were LED on the pistol range. Been terrible shots all their lives..
Now finding left handed guns is another story..

If say start with left handed bow for sure I'm left eye dominate and right handed and trained my self to shoot lefty for all things gun and bow. Save you a ton of money down the road haha.
