Accuracy issue with scorpyd ds 425

New to crossbow hunting because of shoulder issues. Bolts are not very accurate. Either close to bullseye or 8 inches one side or the other using same bolt and field tips. The labels/stickers on bolts are rubbing off I assume from friction with the rail. Would that be throwing off accuracy? Only shot Xbox about 30 times.

There are a lot of knowledgeable users with a lot of experience here. I have no experience with this issue and wouldn't want to guess.

what kind of arrows are you shooting out of it,
I have found that anything that is shooting over 350fps will need spine indexed arrows and near perfect fletching
it will take some tinkering to get them super fast bows to shoot accurately

There is a high likelihood that the arrows are the culprit. Some wear from contact with rail is normal on these faster crossbows. I'd recommend buying some arrows that are .003 of straightness or better. You can also go with custom bolts, which I'd recommend you check out Burkholder archery for those. You'll pay about the same either way, but your groups should tighten right up. If they don't, then I would take it and get it looked at.

I agree. My family has a couple crossbows. I got my son the Killer Instinct Brawler 415fps last year and it came with Hyperlite bolts. Their grouping in that crossbow were horrible. I shot them out of an old Carbon Xpress 350 and they were perfect. Bought some Barnett Headhunter bolts for the Brawler and no issues after that.
