Accuracy while in saddle

This is why I limit my shots on animals to 20ish yards and in under real-world hunting conditions and can't bring myself to rely on the assumption of accuracy to ensure results. That's why I like a penetration maximized arrow setup.

The main thing for me was to watch the bubble. I felt like I was holding the bow plumb but in reality was not. So now I make extra sure to look.

Setup your saddle on a tree with your feet on the ground to practice. That'll allow you to figure out angles, foot positioning, torso movement, etc without having the added pressure of climbing repeatedly (along with the little angel on your shoulder questioning the life decisions you've made by hanging off the ground by a rope).

This. Also, it is good to practice from the ground seated and also kneeling. Those shots come up when walking/stalking or from a blind, so it isn't a waste there. But also being able to align yourself and connect from various angles will train your body to do that in a saddle as well.

Shooting from a saddle feels like shooting while sitting down to me.

I guess I’m very weird. What time I have shot from a saddle. Only started last summer. I don’t feel out of sorts. I do practice but at my house shooting bows is a 24/7/365 thing. We shoot I don’t know how much. Allot. ASA, hunting,3D, shooting team. Maybe that has something to do with it.

I think trad bows have the advantage here due to not having to hold the bow vertical to shoot these angles. Also I find in a saddle I'm already bending at the waist. I will also second plebe on that's why I like a bigger platform...ability to stand up and turn around to shoot like it's a traditional tree stand.
