Probably been done before, but today when putting a prusik on my saddle, I realized I could make one tag end long enough to tie a tender around my bridge rope. Works really well. Also ensures your prussik loop wont come lose.

I found an asymmetrical Prusik worked better than the standard with the bend tail tender shown above. It doesn’t take much effort for this compact configuration.

Brocky, Your always coming up with something. I like this configuration. What's that knot on the tag ends?

So I just tried this knot. It grabs really well. Doesn't tend well but it does work. It tied it another way w/ the 2 legs coming over the carabiner and back to the tether. ( Instead of under the biner and then back over.) It grabs well ( not as good as the other way but pretty good) and tends better. It makes for a longer prusic.. I'm going to put a ring in between prusic and the 2 legs and see what happens.

Lots of options, adding a bushing, or tubing eliminates the drag of the stopper, just two over hands back to back, and is part of the hitch. Distel on left and a 4-2 VT on the right. The bushing, or tubing can be used on most hitches.
