Aero Hunter Kestrel Flex

Agree with Apex. I ordered 7/11 and just got mine today on 9/3. My order had been bumped back to 9/28 and I simply called Debbie and she worked with me. They are a solid company. It's not like you can just go to Bass pro and get a saddle. ALL the good ones are on waits. Don't think any of these businesses quite expected this kind of volume.

Yea I ordered min 6/29.... they sound pretty shady to me

I ordered my Flex July 11 as well. #5309. I have not heard anything and I canceled the order. Sounds like they are looking into new coating material for future production based on the long informative email they sent me discussing my cancellation. Hopefully the tearing that Murph experienced was a once off fluke.

Got an email from them today. My order (5403) is scheduled to ship September 27th. Saddles are still on schedule, but not some of the accessories, meaning the Predator rope. They gave me some options on shipping; either wait for all, ship items as they come available, or cancel the unavailable items (meaning I just get the saddle). This is my first saddle to I opted to wait till everything is available, hopefully that does not mean an intolerable delay.

Nothing was said about a problem with the coating material.

So if all we have to do is call and say "yeah I need to be moved in front of everyone else who ordered In front of me because my season starts soon" this makes no sense. Unless you ordered an in stock kestrel and all b/o orders are for flex. How does this help there defense of slow production or 1st come 1st serve.
Mine was ordered on the july 4th. I'll get it I figure about end of September provided more people don't call and ask to be moved up the shipping

I did order a stock kestrel which I’m sure helped since I didn’t have to deal with the madness of the new Flex.

And I simply called and told the truth which was I was drawn for an early archery hunt which was happening before my original ship date. I was told a customer had cancelled an order and they were able to accommodate me based on that. I don’t think i “stole” someone else’s spot or anything. But if you don’t ask you’ll never get.
 
If you didnt order a Flex and the kestrel was in stock you should have gotten it ASAP.

Glad they got it shipped. Mine will be before I know it

I think it's them trying to make an exception to first come first serve in order to accommodate your situation as best as possible. And I hope it's something people don't abuse, because it'll really screw over the people that really need them.

Side note: I hung in the new kestrel yesterday and holy crap- this thing was worth the wait compared to my DIY sit drag set up.
 
I've called them, asked for a status on my Kite order that I made in July. I never asked for a bump up in line just mentioned my season starting date and the bump back and was wondering what the current status was. She mentioned they were doing everything they could to beat the timelines that they have expressed in the emails. my season starts in 9 days, but my saddle isn't scheduled to be here till 10/4 I'll be fine sitting in my sit drag / RCH till it arrives or till I find an alternative.

I feel for ya. I am grateful to the sit drag for giving me all the summer practice I needed. Worth every penny. And now I have an easy back up saddle. And when your get your kite you will instantly feel solid in it. No need to spend multiple practice sessions at that point. I feel like I have not had to wait for something like this since being a kid waiting for Christmas. Tough not getting that instant gratification i am so used to.
 
Order #5044 placed June 28, 2019, shipped yesterday afternoon (9/5/19)!!! Will be delivered 9/9/19. There were two original delays and after the second I contacted them and they provided me with a fair compromise. I'm not going into the details of the compromise but I did tell them that I would give them a plug. I can say they have been quick to respond to my emails and have never just ignored me or delayed any response. I'm not one of those that constantly email and complain but after the second delay I felt that they should do something and they did and they have stuck to this timeline and in fact beat it by a half day as they told me it would ship today. It shipped yesterday. Thanks Aerohunter by New Tribe!!
 
Got my Flex yesterday. Shout out to Enkriss! This thing seems to be much better as far as size goes for us big folks. In fact, I wouldnt mind it being manufactured the size it is opened with ability to flex out another 3.5”. I must be missing something but I like a saddle to cup almost to behind my knees like my diy fleece does.

Did everyone that got the flex have 2 waist belt webbing retainers or did it just come with 1? Mine has just one and I would like another. Im away from the saddle and need to order. I am assuming they are 1 inch clips? Also, since you get several from amazon, will the same size work on the molle loops to hang sticks from?

Do know if the orders are shipped in the order they were received? Hypothetically, if they were having trouble getting rope bridge material, would a webbing bridge that was ordered at a later date possibly ship first? It's probably all speculation without talking to New Tribe. I am anxiously awaiting order 5555 regardless!
Just got my update on a standard Kestrel that was supposed to ship today, saying Predator Rope is delayed again (Wesspur has same notice), and New Tribe offered to put a webbing bridge instead so they could ship it out ASAP. I took the webbing bridge, should be shipping this afternoon as originally planned. That’s not a direct answer to your question, but it’s a start. I recommend calling or emailing them with your same question, and they’ll be super helpful and transparent. My experience with their service has been A+ so far.
