Aero Hunter Kestrel Flex

I ordered size 2 Flex saddle only in ASAT with closed bridge order # 6597 on 10/4/2019. My order is currently scheduled to be made the week of December 13th.
 
I think the rope is/ has been a bogus story in that there are so many ropes of equal or better rating than any they offer.
I would like the story on why they are so slow to deliver.
At this point they should accept 50% deposit on an order that they have no real clue when they will deliver.
I'll just sit in my Trophyline which took two weeks to get but that wasn't bad. I called Trophyline and asked if there was a problem and it turns out there was some shipping error.
I received my saddle three days later.
Unless the Kestrel plainly out classes the Trophyline, or you can wait month after month it's a no brainier.

on one hand yes there are many similar rates ropes. On the other hand the specific ones that they have standardized are tough to find in stock elsewhere as well...and quality certifications/standards may not allow them to substitute willy-nilly. They aren't a fly by night garage operation (even if they're still small)

They're a small company dealing with a massive spike in demand.

Trophyline took risk on investing on a lot of inventory, and in outsourcing to China. Kestrels are handsewn in the US. There are plusses and minuses to each approach.

Called again yesterday...my saddle was manufactured this week. They're waiting on prusik rope. Supposed to ship tomorrow which was 12 weeks...now possibly next week or early the following week.

Quality, Quick and Cheap....
If you waited for a month or two before the season to order a saddle, probably your first saddle. I hope you're a quick study when it arrives for your sake and your quarry

Willy nilly? We are not talking Walmart.
Any climbing rope has to be certified at or over #5200?..there plenty to choose from in many colors!

I want to compare a kestrel to a Trophyline for MYSELF no doubt about that. When I begin to hear that they are filling orders as promised I will get one.

I hate to hear things like, I'll ship it over night air and I get it the following week.

Tell it like it is, People will buy. Then you don't disappoint with push after push.

I assume you've never worked at somewhere e.g. ISO certified. There can be a whole crapload of process attached to product changes. And if you have rope on order and expected soon...why would you go through that?

I paid about $50 more for my flex then I did my TL Ambush when I bought it was used. Relatively speaking that's cheap.... and guess where it was made

For what it's worth, mine shipped last week and my town was not listed on the Facebook post. I received an email from AH that it was shipping. Mine was delivered today and I'm stuck at work looking at the UPS tracking that says "delivered. " Come on, quitting time!

Aerohunter does there dates backwards. Order date was actually 8/6.
