The SH Membership has gone live. Only SH Members have access to post in the classifieds. All members can view the classifieds. Starting in 2020 only SH Members will be admitted to the annual hunting contest. Current members will need to follow these steps to upgrade: 1. Click on your username 2. Click on Account upgrades 3. Good gosh.....convinced the wife saddle hunting would be cheaper than numerous stands and sticks. 
4 shikars, 2 ridge runners, 1 flex, 1 mantis, 2 versa aiders, a table full of amsteel and various other gadgets. Then I see The Method saddle and now this. All because I stumbled across this site!

someone posted late September then deleted it.
these saddle companies have piss poor marketing. Post pics without any addition information or availability date. It’s just annoying.

Most of them don't have a dedicated marketing department, so i'd cut them some slack. These are small businesses with limited time and budget. Owners and employees wearing many hats. That being said your criticism is fair, just understand you're not dealing with giant corporate machines who have dedicated marketing departments/agencies to churn out marketing material for consumers.
All but one. It’s kind of amazing considering it’s not rocket science as to why one is leading the pack on sales. (This is an assumption based on nothing more than social media).

Marketing equals sales. But does that mean you buy the saddle with the best marketing arm? Not if you want the beat saddle.
One of the smallest companies the TX5 sells 10 per month. I know which saddle I would want.

Not to name names, but over the top marketing can have an unintended effect if it's to the point that your brand reputation is "annoying".
Agree. Aggressive marketing is necessary when you are catering to the masses and trying to push product. Not having to do all that is one benefit to a smaller operation. I believe if you have a quality product to offer, word gets around on its own.

Yikes. Y’all complaining about being marketed to by the very companies that make your passion and hobby a reality. Maybe we should just go back to the good old days of guessing a product even exists at all and hoping someone makes it and will release it eventually? I mean that was so much better than the constant stream of new saddle hunting products, companies, and targeted advertising.

No Not complaining about marketing at all. I believe in free enterprise but just because a product is marketed well doesn’t mean it’s the best product, that was my point. Some people buy the best marketed or most available or most popular saddle. I want to know who has the most comfort and a well built saddle.
Marketing has grown the saddle market resulting in more choices which is good
The Merlin is a new tribes product. Marketing may not be a strength of New tribes but the saddles are very high quality and reasonably comfortable and they stand behind what they make.
