aero hunter shipping time

Kite ordered July 22 (july show special) delivered Oct 25.

That’s strange because their website clearly states 8 weeks, not 13 and a half. I may have spoke too soon when I said they were knocking it out of the park. I don’t mind the wait if they are honest about it. But telling me 8-10 weeks and then take 13+ really has an effect on my trust level.

I'm just thankful that when I left a VM a few days ago explaining how I'm going out-of-state next week, I got a call back the next day (I could not take at the time) and got an email shipping update the next day.

Thank you Debbie at Aerohunter.

What saddle companies with a track record longer than a few months are left to trust?

New Tribe has been around a long time making some of the best Arborist saddles in the business long before making hunting saddles and are as straight up a company to deal with as you're going to find anywhere. They're a handmade American product that's experiencing unprecedented popularity. It's not a widget cranked out by the jillion from a Chinese sweatshop. Extended wait times suck but with their long standing reputation for quality and service in my opinion they've earned the right to be cut a little slack on shipping times.

You just quoted me saying “I don’t mind the wait time”... It’s the knowing it will take longer but still marketing a certain time so as to keep customers from going elsewhere like they may be inclined to do if they knew the actual wait time.

I guess that’s just me but I tend to trust until given a reason not too. I’d have no problem purchasing a saddle from any company currently offering them I just went with this one due to a lot of the reviews saying it was more comfortable and I had no problem calling and customizing it. I’m not saying anything about the saddle itself just marketing practices.

Aerohunter is about the most reachable and communicative established saddle provider. You can't even call tethrd, and everyone else is tiny, new to market, or both.

I don't think they are afraid of anyone backing out because of long delivery times. They tell you that can cancel if you don't like the delivery time. I have a Kestrel and I waited three months and I think it was worth the wait. I ordered the Kite last month. Said it before and I'll say it again,Debbie is awesome!

Believe it's a conspiracy if you want to my friend, it's ok with me. Having been familiar with the company and how they operate for going on a couple decades now, I felt compelled to add my thoughts about it.

I’m not sure what you are referring to. I’m just stating facts.
1) Website has said 8-10 weeks for several months, intentionally or the IT guy went on vacation, who knows.
2) Multiple people posting it’s taking 12 weeks or more, but could only be a fraction of the orders going out.

That’s just info I thought someone looking to purchase one today might want to know.

Personally I’m waiting to see when it gets here whenever that may be, to decide it it was worth the wait. I had a Great experience with customer service when I called so I’m not knocking the ladies in that area. However if/ when I purchase another saddle I will have this experience to draw from. That is all.

Sorry about the mini- thread jack OP.

Tr33 I agree with you.
Sounds like a good product and following
but the marketing is misleading at best.

Then you get mugged for saying so.

And now a word from our stakeholders,

I ordered my Kestrel Mid-August order number 6354, then ordered a Flex for my hunting buddy 10/24/2019 and that order was 6900! Business at aero must be good. I am both excited and nervous about receipt according to their 8-10 week delivery estimate, but I honestly did not expect the 8/10 week estimate to be hit given the expected complications associated with any type of mfg experiencing exponential growth! Especially one that is in a life or death market segment. I pray they take the time and do it right! We have hunting seasons every year...

I ordered the flex 10/13 and was #6723. So in 11 days... almost 200 more orders. I was given an update that my order should ship the week of 12/20 at the latest and that i have a very high probability of recieving my order prior to the holiday. it would be amazing to use it for late season archery.
