Thanks danny. I had a guy just message me in amazement at how tight he got them doing it. I think you'll love it. It's almost as good as a cam buckle

At work right now but looking forward to getting home just to try it out. From video it seems to sag very little I like that very much. Again thank you for sharing stay safe good luck his season

Interesting. I use the method of rotating the stick 45 degrees to get the connection tight, so I'll definitely give this method a try too. Great video!

That works but still not as tight as I like to get them. Just personal preference. A lot of issues with people falling is they haven't spent enough time trying out their gear. But complacency can creep up on us that do!

Good idea, if I didn't have DIY really short versabuttons then I would definitely do this. Next time I have larger versabuttons, then I"m doing this.

Coincidentally, I am going to switch to steps and start using almost your exact same method. I have a back injury and I have to go ultralight for a while to let it heal. So, I'll be using treehopper steps until I can buy some 1 lbs tethrd sticks next year.

Post 35 here

Nice I like it. I’m using a daisy chain on my Predator, definitely giving this a shot. I use this same technique for my gear holder with the daisy chain, never thought of using it for the Predator. That’s why I love this site.

Thanks for checking it out. I had a guy on Facebook comment he tried on his predator after watching and it was much better! Keep us updated

I was thinking of trying this when I first got some sticks and daisy chain to try. Ending up on sticking with a cam cleat instead. This looks great and I'm for sure gonna give it try on my unmodded left over sticks. I have used a trucker hitch with rope for years on steel ladder sticks for treestands and you can get those things just about ratchet strap tight so this should be darn good.

Thanks for all the support guys! I appreciate you all watching and giving it a try

I am going to give this a try. Just wo dering if instead of the wrap and hitch could just tighten and attach to button. I'll try out both shortly.

That’s neat. Have you done it without the wraps? Just through a loop and hooked to the button?
I did it this way on Sunday after watching Zach’s video. It worked great. And if you are still between loops then just cant the stick like you would do otherwise.
