I guess nostalgia got hold of me and so I went and got some aluminum arrows to play with.
This particular rig is a 21" riser with a set of my border limbs in medium length at #52. I draw 29" and get #55
I am shooting 200 grain tips so I'm thinking 2219s or 2315s at 30ish inches.
I use simmons safari broadheads which weight 205 grains.
Anyone out there still shooting aluminum with any suggestions?
With the price of carbons so high anymore aluminum doesn't sound half bad but the truth is they won't hold up forever.
