Great buck congratz. Great story to. Cery inspiring.
people dont or never realize how much work and time is put into going after specific bucks.
one little thing can change everything he does.
and most important where he does it.

That's so awesome! Really enjoyed the story to go along with the pictures.

The one picture looks like your hand barely fits around the mass of the horns. Impressive!

You have a lot of work ahead of you to top that one! I know you will! Maybe not next year but you will!

BTW totally agree on the can never have too many public spots. My philosophy as well.

Awesome buck and story!! You'll remember this for the rest of your life and it will inspire you anytime things get tough. Thank you for sharing your story with all of us. We can all certainly learn from your persistence and determination. Well done!

Amazing buck.

Even better story. Perseverance has killed more bucks than anything. Sometimes it P
perseverance over the whole season, sometimes it's just sticking it out through one hunt that starts out as a disaster (which is how I got my buck)

I don't live in an area where tracking bucks is feasible- not enough snow and too small of properties. But that's sounds like blast.

Congrats again.

I enjoyed the article very much, I’ve pressed hard this year after a target buck to no avail, still chasing, but not facing the harsh conditions you are. Congrats on a wonderful buck, God Bless.

Thanks for all the kind words guys it really means a lot, I appreciate it!!!

I can’t believe I missed this holy cow what an absolute beautiful buck!!! Outstanding work!! Congratulations to you my friend!!!

Topdog, incredible read. What an adventure. That’s some Hemingway / Jeremiah mtn man stuff!
I’d bet many members have learned from your posts, even before this one.
Im also 44 and get maybe 1 week a year where I can hunt close to that hard and even then I’m sleeping by the trailhead.
Well done, enjoy reflecting on that this off season.
