So the EWO site has the amsteel aiders for the hawk helium sticks as a purchase option. I ordered the 3 step with hopes to be able to one stick with my 20”. Anyone got any idea how long it may take? I ordered back on the 17th…..

You should send an email, DanO’s response time is very fast and the customer service is awesome.

It is the busiest time of year for him but I have always gotten my stuff in 4 or 5 days. Very prompt service from Dano.
True that! Throw in the many new saddle hunters like me and I bet he’s slammed. It just seemed like the way it is advertised it was something ready to go. My guess is everything is made to order though……I’ll give it a few more days before I reach out

I do believe that he does not stock these but they are third party shipped from the amsteelguy. I could be wrong but just something to be aware of.

You may find 3 steps may be more than you need. I Solo stick with a 20" helium. Since it allready has two steps, you basically get 3 steps with a regular 1 step aider. Heres mine.

I’m kinda hoping, but when I gave one sticking a whirl with a 36” stick, I found it easier to move if I didn’t climb all the way to the top of it……..I’ll surely need to practice. I just got the email that it’s ready. This weather sucks with heavy rain the next two days when I should be hunting.

Got the aider on and 3 steps is surely more then necessary. But it doesn’t weigh anything and isn’t in the way. I like it. The top step does seem to hang lower than I’d like. I plan to wrap the amsteel around the bottom step, maybe 2 or 3 times to raise the top rung. I’ll put vet tape on the steps before and after the amsteel wraps. I don’t know the limitations for amsteel but don’t see any problems wrapping it around the steps.

A buddy of mine does the same thing, no issues so far.

Which cam cleat is that and what rope are you using in the cam cleat? I have been debating doing that with one of my 20” heliums.
