amsteel CRUZR adjustable bridge, not very adjustable?

Is there a different Prusik that could work on it and be a little easier to work with? Also: for safety I end the bridge in a poachers knot to the bridge loop, so the prusik has a backup.
I set in my Flex today witch I but an amsteel adjustable bridge from Cruzr on and had no problem adjusting it by a simple twist . I have the amsteel bridge on all my saddles.

Hi all.

Quick update. First: The folks at CRUZR have killer customer service. Seems the prusic loop on my bridge assembly was long, with too much of the single width amsteel in it, so the prussic knot was getting in the way when the bridge was tightened down, as there was a good 5+" of prusic loop material between the bridge loop and knot. And the non-doubled amsteel in the loop was biting really hard which made it difficult to open up. They sent me a new bridge assembly, and it is definitely better.

That said, it is still really hard to adjust. I'm 225# which might mean it bites in extra hard. And I SRT, so it is really carrying my full weight in both directions. It is definitely not a squeeze and twist, then adjust situation though. I have to push the prusic knot apart to get it to budge. I am now testing out a klemheist instead of a prusic. It grabs well, and moves MUCH easier, when I want it too, but sits still when I don't. I know it is slipperier, and I am depending on this knot to keep from going splat. But I feel ok about it, in part because it does grab hard the second there is any pull (like a blakes hitch in DRT, but one that won't release under tension), also because of the stopper knot, but also because I clove hitch the end with the stopper in it to the bridge loop on my saddle, so if the knot slips, first the clove hitch would have to fail, then the stopper knot would have to slide through. So there are 2 backups to a system that already feels pretty solid.

Talk me out of it? So far I'm really liking it. Or try it. At your own risk.

Update: the klemheist started turning inside out on the amsteel and bit hard. had to be reset over and over. I bit the bullet and switched to resc tech and Beal cordalette for a distal friction hitch w a paracord loop as tender. So far I like it way better. For someone who adjusts their bridge every climb (particularly for SRT folks) this may be preferable.
