Amsteel or Tubular Webbing bridge?

For those of you that have tried both, which do you prefer and why? Thanks.

Really it's personal preference. I like the tube web I think it has the perfect amount of friction against the carabiner. Amsteel is a little bit too much slip and slide for my liking. And I know the numbers don't lie but I have a mental block against trusting my life to a 1/4" rope.

Same...I prefer the friction of Tubular over Amsteel. Just feels more locked in when you get to where you want to be to shoot.

I have to agree...I to like the webbing. Maybe my days in the Marines and Army, but the military grade webbing is tough. I found some 1" wide rescue webbing that is rated for 6000#. Got over 100' of it and thinking about selling it by the foot. Got it from CMC rescue.

After using predator and then switching to amsteel this past month, I have the same problem!!! Especially since I did the locked brummel splices!! Lol

What color is it?

I have both black and orange. I use the orange for my bridge and the black for my tether. Took the webbing to a upholstery guy and had him sew loops into the tether and bridge. Works great.

I just got RCH and Sitdrag. The rope it came with for the bridge is really stiff. I have it girth hitched on both sides causing the bridge loops to bunch up. I’d like to try some webbing. Where can I get some by the foot? How much will I need to make @24” bridge? I’m going to try to tie water knots for both sides. The rope I have is to stiff to even start to tie water knots.

Thanks for any help.

I really didn't notice a different between the 2....i guess the amsteel could slide a little easier....... I have a webbing bridge currently and don't really plan on changing.
