Amsteel Tether and Linemans Belt

I haven't used amsteel.... If you did use it as a linesman belt I would think you would need some kind of protective sleeve....the amsteel I use to attach my sticks has become loose/frayed..... Once it frayed/weave loosened up the rope sticks to the tree bark

I’ve ran an 1/4 amsteel daisy chain as a tether most of this season. It works well enough. I have no idea about using it as a LB, would not be stiff enough for me but to each his own
 
How did you like the daisy chain tether been thinking about trying it do you have any pictures
 
I liked the fact that it was light and took up nearly no space in my pouches. It’s adjustable enough for me due to my WS bridge. Not sure if I could make it work with a fixed length bridge.
