Amsteel

Elevator cables...they should use it for elevator cables

After consulting my imaginary internet attorney @TNbowhunter has convinced me to drop the case....after looking over the amsteel belt I missed the true 6and6 split with the fid once during 1 of my splices....user error on my part

On the plus side, after our conversations, I do believe tnbowhunter will be swapping out his belt here soon to an amsteel one also

I’ll get to that as soon as I get home from chasing all the ambulances that converted over to Amsteel belts.
 
I mentioned to the elevator guys at work they should install amsteel on the cable cars. They said the contactors would never do it, cause it would decrease the amount of maintenance they needed.
