The SH Membership has gone live. Only SH Members have access to post in the classifieds. All members can view the classifieds. Starting in 2020 only SH Members will be admitted to the annual hunting contest. Current members will need to follow these steps to upgrade: 1. Click on your username 2. Click on Account upgrades 3. Halfway...maybe a little more than that....had to run some butcher twine around her... skin started to split at the shoulder.
Really starting to smell good... you'll have to take my word. Forgot to mention, she's stuffed with mojo ingredients... 4 cheesecloth sacks with oranges, limes, lemons, bulb of garlic, basil and peppercorns to keep her moist.

No lid... if I had to get another, would maybe look into that just for better temp control...
Damn! I wish I saw this earlier. Too late now. Google maps says I'm about a 19 hour drive from you and I would have to go through Chicago to get there. That ain't gonna happen
Nice. It's been years but a buddy's grandpa would do a whole hog every year for a family reunion/revival/birthday party event on their farm. Good times.
I have only attempted one whole hog. Shot a shoat about as big as my boot and got it cleaned and scalded about the time my wife go home and started crying at the tiny little corpse about to go in the oven.
