Have you used them and how did they perform? Real world accuracy and blood trails?

I'm a little intrigued by them. I'll always shoot coc, fixed. It's totally ain't broke, don't fix it because my VPAs work great.

I watched that "test" dlist posted. It was ok but all of those tests are somewhat of a joke. Some crap in his test is totally irrelevant imo, like shooting plywood and "drain time". I guess at least the plywood shows how junky stamped razor blades are.

His little shoulder targets, while a great idea on paper, the execution is always bad. Anyone who has ever processed a deer knows the shoulder blade has a thick ridge and tapers down to the thickest part at the ball joint. The actual "blade" is very thin in places. In that test he's hitting all over the place and it's clearly not a valid scientific process. But hey anyone with a youtube and two thumbs can be an expert these days.

I guess you could test 30 broadheads as follows:

1. Get 3 of each (90 broadheads).
2. Then get 90 deer (make sure you get enough tags)
3. Tie 30 into a full broadside / 30 into quartering away / 30 into quartering to. Some kind of harness that holds them in place.
4. Blast 90 deer with some type of machine that guarantees exact placement. For quartering to, blast thru shoulder blade.
5. Somehow the harness has to release upon impact so the deer can run.
6. Measure results. Maybe distance run / penetration / blood loss volume...

Of course, that's a small sample size so repeat maybe 20 times. So 1,800 deer or so... ;)

I like real science which the test wasn’t. But it was interesting. And the top ranked broad heads showed significantly better results.
I will do the scientific test if you get me the thousand tags and buy me a deer farm
I still like the video

Be careful with these broadheads. I recently shot a doe on a public land quota hunt using this broadhead. Deer was quartering away, arrow went in left side lung and stopped in right shoulder blade, not a pass through. Shot was executed from 20 yards with 61# bow @ 28 draw from elevation of 18 feet. NO BLOOD!!!! Wasn’t the best shot but definitely a kill and definitely should have allowed trace of blood. Well over an hour searching into the dark, no blood I could find anywhere and no deer to be harvested!!!! Went back next morning, ended up finding about 10 inches of my arrow she had broke off and laying with the arrow was about a 3-4” blood puddle and that was it. No trail after that. Nothing!!! Broadhead company claims the wound channel does not close (“punches a hole”) allowing arrow to be free from drag going through meat/flesh. Well, I have experienced proof that is false, the wound channel on that doe definitely closed around the arrow. I know circumstances would have been different had the arrow completed pass through, but it didn’t and that’s how it goes in the bow hunting world ( things aren’t always perfect) I do hope this was an anomaly situation and no one else will ever experience this tragedy. I will be choosing a different broadhead company to support, and definitely take this into consideration on choosing yours. Keep em simple!!!!

I bought two 3 packs of them last year. They shoot the same as my field points out of my xbow. Deer season opened today so I haven’t shot a deer with one yet but I’m hoping they work well. They feel sturdy and well maid. Easy to re sharpen too.

Any updates on these heads? I’m going to try them out this season. I shot them for the first time tonight and they shoot true to 40yds, which is the farthest I got due to the horrendous mosquitos. They are dead silent which is great compared to vented slick tricks. I managed to burry one in the dirt when I forgot to adjust my sight and it is still pristine!2767ED51-F177-47A7-80BD-CC1C97E513A7.png

I don’t have an annihilator update but I can confirm the whistle that I got from all the different types of Slick Tricks I’ve shot over the years(regulars, magnums, Grizztricks, Vipertricks). Always worked well for me and the whistle didn’t seem to affect anything in terms of the shot. That being said, I switched to the Tooth of the Arrow XLs last year, which comes out to be a ST Magnum basically but one solid piece of metal and they don’t whistle like the STs did for me. I like the “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” way of thinking personally.
