So with ebikes the new legal thing for hunting and me not wanting to spin $2000 I decided to do it myself. I started with an old huffy 26in somewhat fat tire(2.8x26). It was around $130 when I bought it at Walmart years ago. I then purchased an ebike kit (BBSO2B 750watt with a 48v 17ah battery) off ebay that was $720 plus tax($786), some new handle bar grips $20.75, and a new chain for $10 (old 1 was bad rusted). I striped and painted the frame then I stalled all the new parts. Fun to ride.Screenshot_20230216_115244_Gallery.jpgScreenshot_20230305_185302_Gallery.jpgScreenshot_20230305_185127_Gallery.jpgScreenshot_20230305_185147_Gallery.jpg

I would recommend updating braking levers before switching to disc brakes (get out as much slop as you can and get a more responsive/more comfortable braking experience) ...As far as rim brakes go, the v brakes you have should hold up fine, just keep a close eye on those pads. Very nice setup!!
