Any Al turkey hunters here?

New to Al I am going to turkey hunt at least some this year. I live in Haleyville and have a couple of WMA close by. I’m having trouble finding turkey numbers by wma. If anyone Can point me in the right direction it would be appreciated. If anyone has any recommendations PM me! Lol. The closest to me are Sam R Murphy and Bankhead. Unless I’m missing something.
How can I find out if I can hunt TVA property around Bear creek lake? I cannot seem to find it anywhere so maybe that means I cannot hunt there?

You won't find per WMA numbers because they aren't published. The best you can do is look at the county harvest statistics for the counties Black Warrior and Sam R. Murphy are located in and add up the numbers reported on WMAs. Luckily for you, I don't think Black Warrior or Sam R. Murphy share the county with any other WMA. So you won't have to wonder how things are split.

It's been a while since I looked into it but I believe all the Bear Creek property can be hunted but requires an additional permit not sold by the state but Bear Creek's management.
