Any idea on 18” Beast stick weight?

Just curious if anybody had an idea on the weight of the new shorter beast sticks? Didn’t see any thread on them yet. Watched a video on YouTube but didn’t mentioned weight, unless I just missed it

I may have to get some of these. I have the 24" beast sticks and like them. But these might just fit me a little better. I'm sure he'll soon have the weight posted up.

Am I understanding this right, that there’s only 4 inches of step length difference between the two? How do you go about getting that bottom step low enough, with enough support to utilize the full 18 inches of the stick, unless the 18 inches is just the distance between steps and the stick is actually a little longer

Just subtract whatever 4" of 1/8" 6061 square tubing with holes drilled in it weighs. Can't be much. I don't expect a significant weight drop. The benefit is in the packability, and perhaps in dealing with tree variability as mentioned in the video. Good to have options.

Pretty sure it’s 20” stick and 18” step. I believe he said 4 inches shorter in the video.

This..

And I am going to guess they are about 2oz lighter. They are probably a lot stronger and will flex less.

Should be a great stick .. I’m 5-9 and have been using beast sticks the last two years my only gripe about them was the step especially later in the season with bulkier clothes on.

A drilled 24 inch long piece of 1 inch is 13oz, maybe 12.5 with the deep countersink. So about .5 oz per inch...

4 inches shorter = 2 oz less
