Any idea what this might be?

I’m going with palmation as well...really hoping I can get down there to pull the card Sunday to really tell.

I hope palmation!!! That would be cool. Looks like it could also be a red oak leaf cluster.

Looking on the interwebs it sort of resembles cutaneous fibromas but its hard to see clearly from the trail cam pics

Guys, I think y’all are all wrong. Sorry, but I think that is a whitetail deer. I am pretty much **** Tracy now...

You’re welcome.

Saw this deer multiple times up close this year from the stand/saddle...I suppose once he shed velvet those leaves went with it because he looked perfectly normal all season...and a REEEEAAAAAALLY tough one to pass in my neck of the woods...hopefully he’s back again next year :)

In reading back on the posts its funny how many of us; myself included, were hoping for some kind of freak rack feature. That's the optimism of hunting that keeps us going back every year, hoping dreaming, wondering about the freak rack bucks out there. I called oak leaf cluster too!!! Thanks for sharing.

I know! When I first saw him he was at 30, open-mouth panting just asking to have one slipped through his ribs...I knew it was him and saw a perfectly fine rack...and to be honest, was a little bummed to not see some crazy palmation...made my decision easier because I had planned to make a game-time decision on him if I had the opportunity to try and take him.
