was wondering if there any map reading guys from upstate ny area who would be willing to show a fellow member how to best read topo maps for fee for there time
 
What are you looking to learn? There are lots of online resources to help you. If you post an example on here I'm sure there are lots of guys who can help walk you through the basics.
 
Pick up Mapping Trophy Whitetails by Brad Herndon. Good read & good visuals all in one spot if your new to terrain for deer.......
 
You can probably find a copy of TC 3-25. That could be the wrong TC since I've been out a few years now. But anyone can learn to read a map with that, I promise.
