Any review on the treehopper step/paddles? Thanks

I do not have the peddles, but I have the ring of steps from Treehopper. The Treehopper steps are tough, sturdy, and lightweight. I am a big dude at 340# (hoping to drop some LBS real soon) they do not move at all! The steps are awesome, and pack well with them connecting now. I did change back to the ratchet strap from the ocb and strap that came with them. I just felt more comfortable with the ratchet strap. I highly recommend them, and the drill and bolts. I am thinking of getting the tree suit soon as well just to add to the arsenal. Customer service is top notched as well!

Thanks guys - I am using bolts but the paddles r new to me and I was curious if anyone might b using them and their experience

I have the paddles (4) and are pleased with them while testing in the yard. I have not hunted with them, or used them for longer than 15-20 minutes... more of a platform guy, but use a lot of bolts to climb and wanted to have these in my arsenal. Treehopper makes phenomenal products and their customer service is top notch. If you had purchased them and were not 100% happy contact Mark and he will make it right.
They rotate to whichever angle you want and simply provide more surface area for your feet... very simple and effective design.

I know that Mark is working on another version of the pedal. The bolt for the pedal he is working on is a hybrid of a bolt and a screw in step.
The pedal is a version of a bicycle pedal. I've had one in hand. Its really light weight.
I have not tested it.
I have spent minimal time with the earlier version. I'm a platform guy so I may not be the best person to review it. It seemed like a decent option for a ROS with bolts.

Send it my way, I will review and test it out if you want, just tell me where to send it back . Do you have any experience with the tree suit? There are not many reviews or vids from what I searched. I am loving the drill and bolts, as well as the steps.

I have a little yard time with the tree suit. No real world hunting time with it.

What do you think about it? I have always been a ROS guy, but that tree suit looked sweet and wonder if it is something that I would be interested trying out.

Lightweight, stable and the price is right.
Early models have an issue with the vertical supports squeaking against the bark of some trees but I believe he has addressed that.

Any idea on his fix for that? I have tape on mine as a temporary fix and should probably just break out the sand paper, but curious if there are other options

He tried to explain it to me over the phone. Not sure I would convey it accurately, but I believe he has formed some serrations in the posts. Don't take my description as being exactly correct.
IMO, the issue was caused by the paint. I don't own a tree suit, but if I did, I would just repaint the post with a flat paint.

I haven’t tried the pedals. I did try the steps though. A little more angle and short for my liking but they are solid and stay put on the tree. Very stable with no side to side wobble. They handle side pressure great.

I've had some peddles in a tree in the yard I've practiced shooting off of quite a bit. I absolutely love them. Haven't spent an extended period of time on them but I think they will be at least as comfortable as my squirrel steps. There is no comparing a ring of steps to them for moving around the tree. They are just so much more solid. Not sure if they are better as part of a system to hunt with especially if you aren't running bolts to climb. Once set I like them better than a ring of steps. Also you really only need two or three per set. The bolts you just use for repositioning don't need peddles.

I just got two tree hopper platforms in the mail yesterday.I got a chance to play around with them and they're very light and stable. The posts do have serration on them.I only played around for a little while but didn't notice any noise.

Those must be the latest version.
