Anybody ever used the Walmart 2 yr product protection plan?

I bought one of those tasco cameras last summer. While it still takes pictures the SD card slot has malfunctioned and requires 2 pair of tweezers to get my card back out. Luckily I got the protection plan (for $2) I think. Has anyone ever returned anything using that plan? Is it worth the hassle? Will they try to wiggle out of it somehow?

Never used Wal Mart's plan, but my experience at another big box retailer was that for items under a certain $ amount as long as you had proof of purchase they just cut you a credit, no questions asked. Higher ticket items sometimes have repair/replacement plans. They bank on most people buying those and never using them. They shouldn't need to wiggle out of it to turn a huge profit.

Yes I have and made out like a bandit cuz of it. I bought a 40” TV years and years ago and got their two year warranty on top of the TVs 1-2 yr warranty. Anyways when the TV went out and they weren’t able to repairs it the warranty covered it. They reimbursed me the original purchase price (had to push for this as they wanted to give me a pre-picked TV by them in place of cash). But since TV prices have dropped considerably over the years I was able to upgrade to a 62” 4K TV and had enough to get me a simple vezio soundbar with what was left. I buy the plan on almost anything worth value now if I get it at Walmart.
