...that come stock on most arrows. I’m the one paint color clean car look kinda of guy. Busy designs are tacky to me. I see all these arrows and their wraps are absolutely atrocious. Don’t even get me started on the fletchings. Gold tips wraps aren’t that bad but I still don’t want to have to look at them. Just took the corner of the back side of my knife and this stuff came right off. Ahhh, nice clean arrows. Can anyone relate?54CCF293-DF5B-48B7-97FE-FA605800BD74.png

YES!! Agree 1,000 percent...it’s not like I wouldn’t shoot an arrow with a label, but if it’s a clean label I much prefer it...and definitely no wrap...and definitely single color fletches

Acetone and a paper tata are my choice when it comes to cleaning up an arrows appearance!

Do you fletch your own arrows? I’m frightened that I might be heading in that direction

Yes. It’s an enjoyable endeavor. Don’t fret it. Many benefits.
1) You can make sure that you put them far enough away from the nock that they don’t touch your face when you anchor.
2) You can make repairs easily if you shoot through one of the fletchings when practicing.
3) You can play with different offsets/helical depending on which broadhead you’re shooting, some helicals/offsets will work better with different setups
4) You can clock your arrows and do a left helical or right helical depending on which way your shaft turns off the string naturally (if you’re a psycho and OCD about your bow stuff like I am)
5) More rewarding when you do it all yourself and don’t have to rely on someone else to do those things for ya
6) And it’s just fun IMO

Wait, wait. Did you start off this thread whining about arrow wraps and then end up talking yourself into... wrapping your arrows? :tearsofjoy:
Whining about tacky arrow wraps. What I’m talking about is a thin clean reflective tape wrap maybe 3/8” thick. I shot these real small reflective tape ones last year and they really did help me find my arrow after dark. I’ll see if I can find a picture.

They especially help me find them in the dirt after I miss.

And I’m not anti wrap altogether just anti busy wraps say like blue flames. I would much prefer the latter.88E96879-23C9-45CD-A228-A9F7CA4F1C1C.pngE64B7240-DAF0-4AAE-AC07-0378DC8518E6.png

Speaking of wraps I would love to crest arrows. I tried painting these but they turned out horrible so I took all of the paint off before it dried. Can’t justify spending that kind of money on arts and crafts.
