Anyone gotten an overwatch yet?

Aren't your kids around middle school age? Just explain the problem, offer them $5 and next Sunday they will have you checked out with your new saddle in a fraction of the time it takes you. :)
I wish. She is not the normal 11 year old, and no more proficient than I am. Well maybe a bit, but that would mean two women in my house with access to my money. Why you don't like me?:tearsofjoy:I'll get one eventually.

I missed this batch at 9:15.
I feel like its a sign to cool it on my gear upgrades this winter.

I am a new member here. I signed up after getting so much information from the site - thank you!

I was lucky to be able to order one of these saddles last night. They look like functional pieces of art! I am looking forward to hearing about/experimenting with the D loop rings in terms of silencing them a bit. I'm thinking about a plasti dip or heat shrink type deal. It looks like the essence of the rings is to make micro adjustments easy by altering the position of the bridge attachment points. I definitely don't want to interfere with that by increasing friction on the ring via rubber coating, etc. I guess just something to figure out in the off season. I think the only time it would be an issue is climbing up one stick method and clanking the madrock on a D ring when there is temporarily slack in the system.

Look forward to hearing what you guys come up with or if I am just manufacturing a problem that doesn't exist.

The noisiest part is putting it on. Once its on its basically quiet. For me that will happen at the truck and walk in with it on. I hockey taped mine and tighten my bridge to keep tight while walking in. Once attached the tree it wont be an issue for noise. Very comfortable saddle and very well made. I can't see anyone getting one and not being happy with it.

I saw in previous posts someone stretched bicycle tubing over the D rings, this is something I plan on doing. Doesn't interfere with the function of the rings.....I will have to untie the one side of the bridge to slide the tube on though. I need to confirm that's a figure 8.

Figure 8 follow through.

In order to make sure the suspension webbing slides through the d-rings smoothly, I would focus on putting sleeves over the leg and waist buckles, personally. I use small sleeves sewn out of camo fleece for this purpose. Very easy to make, just the right amount of stretch and works well to quiet down the metal tinks.

Hmmmm good to know. I will keep this in mind.
