Anyone gotten an overwatch yet?

Subscribe to the email list on the website - that will keep you updated to the specifics. He should be opening up another batch of preorders near the end of the month.

Yup. He mentioned the date in his latest Facebook live video, I think it was the 25th?

I just received mine. It's one of the first with the new leg straps that have enhanced adjustability and are removable. I just unboxed it and tried it on. All I can say is WOW - Jamie has outdone himself! The sewing is top notch - I've never seen better quality workmanship, and I've purchased Aerohunter, Tethrd, Treehopper, and Cruzr saddles. Many folks here consider the stitching on the Treehopper Recon to be the best quality that there is ... well the stitching on the Overwatch Outdoors Transformer is THAT good, and it's a more complicated build than the Recon. Jamie provides top quality workmanship throughout.

It's a really well-fitting design for me - I have a 36 inch waist and average butt, and the overall fit is excellent. (And there is plenty of adjustment to go up or down on the waist size.) I love having a 2-panel saddle that stays organized and has well thought out leg straps. I can't wait to get some hang time with it!

Excellent work @JCLINE84 - it's worth every penny - THANK YOU! :)

Now how did you get a new style and I don't even have my old style in to return for the retro yet?

Lightning strike and wife screaming right at the pivotal time. Two minutes later at 9:02 and still in my cart and I hit the purchase button after putting in paypal info and sold out already!

Seriously...

Looks like the price went up a bit from the last run. Were there any changes to the saddle?

He made the leg straps adjustable or you can remove them completely.More hardware and labor but well worth it imo

I've only been saddle hunting for 1 year so probably have no business doing a review. I received my Transformer Saddle this week and took it out for a sit. Build quality is great. My reason for wanting to try was the innovative design and wanting to try a 2 panel saddle. I spent my first several minutes playing with the adjustments which are many and trying to find the sweet spot for me. Then I sat or leaned for and hour and overall found the comfort level to be good. I found from last season that I sit/lean about 50-50 so both positions are important to me. While I would have no trouble hunting from this saddle for an extended time I did not find the comfort level to be as good as my Kestrel Flex size 2. This is no attack on the transformer I think it is a very good saddle which many other people may prefer, but for it was not as comfortable. For the record I hunted out of my Flex every hunt last season and perhaps it is formed into my shape or it has formed me into its shape like a comfortable pair of tennis shoes. As for my size I'm 5'11 195LBS.

That's it, we are coming with pitchforks and torches tonight, lol.

But seriously though do you have more insight as to why you think the Kestrel was more comfortable. Things you like, versus things you don't. Great news if you decide not to keep it, you'll be able to get rid of it pretty quick.

I really hate that it appears I'm attacking this saddle. I am not I think other people will probably find it the most comfortable saddle they have ever sat it. Build quality is outstanding and you won't find better people to deal with. For me however I think that it boils down to the overall size of the Flex providing a much larger area to distribute the weight into. I wont say pinch but pressure especially in the triangle open area just before the 2 panels come together. I did play with panel opening width and bridge length. Like I said before I could hunt out of this saddle without issues I just find my Flex more comfortable.
