Anyone gotten an overwatch yet?

Thanks I skipped that post. sorry
Quick history, hasn’t been as bad lately..... as new saddles we’re coming out there was no way for the actual mfr’s to keep up with the demand much less the when will I get my item email. So guys were here & FB asking what order# & when did you order & who got theirs. It got pretty overwhelming & that section was moved into the vendor section to reduce clutter of the main forum.

Hopefully going to get out with mine for a bit today.

Finally got a little bit of time this afternoon. Quality is, bar none, the best I've seen! Positioned the saddle in multiple configurations. Every position was overall comfortable right away and I really liked that I could shift the rings up or down to get it dialed in. It's also 8 yr old approved! I think the saddle hunting rabbit hole may have just gotten deeper for me

Got some more time in the transformer and I would like to retract my previous post comparing this saddle to the latitude saddles because I don’t think this saddle should be directly compared to anything else on the market. It is a true hybrid saddle that can do it all and do it very well in my opinion and I don’t think there’s much to add that @valerio024 didn’t already point out in his review other than noting that my saddle came with straight d rings and no Molle on the bottom panel.
I will also add that if you have tried two panel saddles in the past and not been a fan I’m there with you, but don’t be scared off.
Obviously the true test will come in the fall when I get to use it in real hunting situations for extended periods of time.

What do straight d rings do or do not do compared to the offset or bent looking ones?

I was able to sit the transformer yesterday!! I am. Brand new to saddle hunting. So it was my first sit ever!! So i used one stick, lineman’s rope and tether. Climbed to the top of the double on top the stick and hooked in both lines on still standing on top the stick. And the reaction after removing the lineman’s rope. Omg how come I wasn’t hunting out of this years ago. Messed around with the double panel most comfortable. No hip pinch able to move and rotate side to side. Well built saddle.I can’t wait to get my platform and sit at hunting height and shoot out of it. I feel like a kid again back home on a swing set!!!

I was impressed with the original release of the Overwatch Outdoors Transformer saddle, because the straps between the panels keep them neat and organized and it's made with USA-sourced components and top quality workmanship. Now with the ability to adjust the leg buckles out of the way of the D-rings, as well as the ability to remove the leg straps entirely, @JCLINE84 has taken a great saddle design and made it even better! Can't wait to get my hands on one! :)

Any update on quieting the D rings?

I plan on trying the inner tube mod and stealth strips on the d rings and seeing which works better for me. However, having the ability to move the leg buckles out of the way of the d rings takes away most of my concern. The triglides are a solid upgrade!

From my perspective, being able to move the leg buckles away from the D-rings accomplishes quieting of the D-rings. By locating the leg buckles away from the D-rings (or by removing the leg straps entirely), the opportunity to clink buckles against D-rings is eliminated. Personally, I will be reluctant to put stealth strips, inner tube, or vet-tape on the D-rings because that will hamper the free movement of the webbing and bridge. It's important to note the benefits of naked D-rings:

1. Low friction sliding of the webbing through the D-rings when adjusting the panels
2. Self-adjusting angle of bridge ends on the D-rings when shifting panels or body position

Just read through the posts. Don't see how to get on a list or purchase the saddle now?

D rings - I noticed that if I wrap the D ring where the bridge attaches and that’s it there is enough adjustability from the webbing panels to be comfortable. It’s amazing how much comfort can come from moving the D rings on the panel like in valerio024 product review video he made

Subscribe to the email list on the website - that will keep you updated to the specifics. He should be opening up another batch of preorders near the end of the month.
