Anyone know what this is?

I read somewhere that with those you have to make sure to completely smash every part of it or it can grow back from just small pieces so they say the best thing to do is spray it with orange oil! If this thing can grow back from small pieces it has to be an alien!!!
I hit it with 100% DEET, it nuked it on the tree!

I hunted FL most of my life before I moved to KY and never saw one of those I had scorpions run out of the bark wha climbing Not Good!!!:openmouth:

Yeah down here in FL we do get the occasional surprise scorpion at face level while climbing 25’ up a big pine tree

Found another on the sidewalk today, it's an invasion! DEET ruined his day as well.

Prolly make good fish bait.....

We have this stuff (I didn't know what it was at the time but looked it up later) called dog vomit fungus.....I learned about it on a hunt trip....I had climbed and hunted this tree in a swampy pine flat with my hang on. When I climbed down I packed up and about to leave and noticed my bow was laying in a big pile of slimey looking bright yellow s**t. I knew for certain that wanst there when I climbed up....it's like neon yellow. I looked it up later and it a fungus that grows within a matter of hours.... So it went from nothing to a big yellow crap pile all while I was up there....slime molds

Looks like a fried egg but backwards

I found one of those worm things while living in Louisiana. Glad to hear others are as freaked out by them as I was!

Eggs the consistency of diarrhea....where I had to touch it, it like skinned over and browed over like a banana but much quicker..... They definitely named it appropriately. It's pretty gross
It would be weird to do a time lapse with a gopro. Try it for us!!!!!
