Hey guys, I’m not posting this to spark a religious debate or anything like that, I’m simply headed up to Cincinnati Ohio for the 1613 Men’s Conference. They have guest speakers including Pastor Joby Martin, NFL Hall of Famer Anthony Munoz, former UFC champion Rich Franklin, former Virginia representative and Army Green Beret Nick Freitas, Warrior Poet Socitey founder and Army Ranger John Lovell and a few more. Anyway being that I am driving up from Florida, figured I’d see if any of you good gents might be in the area and or headed to the conference?
 
Super bummed I didn’t know anything about this being I'm from Ohio. Am I outta the loop that bad? You guys finding events like this mostly on social media? Hope you have a great time!

My church’s pastor is one of the guest speakers, but I have seen quite a bit of info on Facebook. Next time I’ll post about big conferences in advance in case guys are interested
 
I saw @Fl Canopy Stalker post on facebook yesterday. That was the first I knew of it. Would have liked to gone but couldnt even if I had known earlier. Father-n-law's 86th birthday party is tomorrow evening so we are headed to Memphis. That reminds me I need to take the range loads out of the back up pistol and put the good stuff in.
 
Can’t be headed to Memphis with blanks…….. yeah I’m pretty sure most everyone I know is tied up this weekend.
There’s an off chance I may get access to the live stream from my Dads church. If that happens I’ll let folks know……
 
John Lovell of the Warrior Poet Society, did not bring copies of his new book to sell. However Nick Freitas wrote the “Foreword” for John’s book and he took a playful jab at him. (Something they do quite regularly to one another as a Green Beret and a Ranger). So as a playful way to get him back, people were asking John Lovell to sign copies of Nick Freitas new book titled “The Man Book”.

John signed them as followed
“This is only the Man Book now that I’ve signed it”. Then proceeded to post it on instagram and Facebook playfully claiming he’s signed more copies of the book than Nick has… It was quite epic. And getting to hear the real life story of Black Hawk Down from one of the soldiers involved was pretty epic as well.

I wish I had gotten to see some of you gentlemen there. Maybe next year!
