Just want to let the members know they are now taking climbing stick orders for September delivery. It’s not going to happen, save yourself the frustration. I ordered back in January and had a delivery date of April. Every time I email I’m told a few more weeks. But they did have time to come out with hunting beast brand coffee...
Is Novix going to make the beast stand, just curious, thanks.Go order yourself some lwcg doublesteps maybe they will have a weight rating of 200 by the time they ship. The beast sticks will ship sooner or later. Covid really messed alot of stuff up. They are setting up with a new machine shop in Wisconsin. That stuff takes some time. Or would you like your product shipped out looking like a turd. Like another company did and claimed it was camo.
I have no idea on that. I got the novix product launch email today. But it just showed long sticks, short sticks and the echo stand. Guess we will find out tomorrow when their store opens. I would guess it is gonna be pretty soon. Dan posted last week they were taking product pictures and finalizing pricing on the stand. Is Novix going to make the beast stand, just curious, thanks.

They are only behind on the minis. I got my standard sticks a while ago that I ordered at the same time. Dan said a couple weeks ago that they ran into a unforseen problem that they are working out. Not sure what it was but they must have a solution if they opened September sales. I get the wait sucks. But seems to be the common theme when it comes to small batch production. It is the same for big companies too right now. Try and go buy a handgun right now. They are pretty much sold out everywhere. Anything useful anyways.Hey I get quality takes time but you need to let the people know who are buying the stuff from you. They are 6 months behind, maybe even longer who knows. They are still taking orders and saying a few weeks out.

Unforeseen problem = Dan talking a whole lot of crap about LWCG not being TMA tested and now his sticks/stand unable to pass the testing....
Even if it did fail tma at least they are making it right before they ship a run. Unlike some other companies. Well just send a bunch of crap out then only fix the ones people complain about after they send out a new run. Sounds pretty upstanding to me. I swear my 11 year old could have drilled straighter holes freehand then what I received.
Didnt Dan just admit to having to beef up standoffs cuz people were bending them? He also said there was issues with the extrusions on a run. But while this was happening he claimed they were perfect without issue. His method of remedy is to just replace the parts if they come back. Sounds about the same or worse to me...
Yup he did. Stuff like that you aren't going to know until it bends. You can make something that works perfectly for you, but give it somebody else and they will destroy it in a day. Not really going to figure out the real weak spots until the mass put it to use. I had one step bend. I used it as my bottom stick until my replacement showed up in the mail 4 days later. Alot better service. I emailed the beast they asked how many I needed and it was done. I emailed lwcg and I got the run around for 2 weeks then waited 2 months for my post to show up.
If I remember right Dan replaced your sticks as well but you still trash him every opertunity because a extruder fd him and cheapened up the alloy. He is bringing production back to the states so I guess he learned his lesson trusting the Chinese to do what they say they are going to do.
The whole ambush thing could of been avoided if one of those guys would have taken a day off from hunting and drove up to Michigan and Inspected the parts. If they did inspect them and shipped anyways that is way worse. That just says I don't give a crap. For 300 bucks that thing should be perfect. I still have my ambush because I like the size but that ordeal really pissed me off over something so easily avoidable.
Lwcg makes some innovative products I will admit that. But they need to get their crap together. Stop sending out stuff that isn't right. They need to stop rushing products to the market and make sure their design is legit too. Those standoffs on the doublesticks are sketchy at best. I will not buy anything else from them based on the ambush problems.
You are more then welcome to buy whatever you want it's a free country for now.
sounds like there a chance you may know Dan personally, can you ask him when I’ll get my sticks hahah
I had no idea they were made in China. I figured Since he was a machinist and was making them on the side.Nope, sorry I don't know him personally. Just pay attention to what is said on the beast and other places. I deal with some stuff that comes from China at work also. They love to cheapen products up after in production to rip people off. I am waiting on minis as well. I have standard beast sticks also, so for me they get here when they get here. Not much different then half the other crap I order. Nothing ever seems to be in stock anymore.
