Anyone try a PSH buy Vital Ground?

I use one on my Battlement and on my 18" ewo sticks. I love them. Same functionality as a cam strap without the metal buckles making noise. I leave them attached to sticks and platform during transport. I've had no issue getting them tight on the way up or loose on the way down. I would 100% recommend the PSH
Good to hear, I one stick but use a daisy chain for my platform. I use the trucker hitch method on my platform. That works great and isnt terrible to do but it is a little messing around. If this holds as tight on a platform as the trucker hitch/daisy chain method does without the fiddle factor its worth the price.

Little update. Im going to keep using it because I own it. Using it for a platform it might be slightly more convenient then using the trucker hitch and a daisy chain. I absolutely wouldn't use it over a daisy chain for sticks.

i might consider making something similar for my strap on steps

let us know if it holds tight (not much sag) and is easy to untie

I've been using one on a platform and it works as good as daisy chain trucker hitch method.

I got mine tonight. Was already dark, but got the predator on the base of a tree in the yard to test. Totally solid. Shipped FAST too! So nice to hang it and not get the BANG of the factory strap buckle. No movement when pushing against sides at all.

full bury throughout with spliced eye to bring the slack line back through the loop. Simple but even more solid than expected. The video posted at the top of the thread with the full platform does cover it pretty well minus the construction. This shows the most complicated part of the rig where the main loop intersects with the tail end. And to those wondering how hard it is to remove after the hitch has been set, it's extremely easy. like other straps, when you lift up on the platform, it immediately gives you the slack to remove the loop from the versa button.

can anyone figure out how this could be used with a hang on step (treehopper or bullman pioneer step) without extensive mod's like adding a button?

maybe something similar to a soft shackle?
The PSH needs a camming action to lock it down and get it tight. There is a version Matt sells for sticks, which obviously do not cam, but as you add weight to the stick is locks in. You can see and even grap the amsteel as you step up. On a single step like bullman or ameristep.... I do not think they will work on step, unless we are talking wild edge, it may work on them.

I have used this on my EDP this season, it is lovely.
I also bought them for my sticks but I like it more for my platform.

This looks really good. Does anyone know how small of a tree it will work on? I went back to the cam straps a after using the versa strap on my sticks for a while. Just couldn't get them as tight as I like on really small or the occasional tree with knots or angle that the strap just needs to be super tight.

Again, only got testing in last night and it's currently pouring rain. However, I tried it on three trees. Large oak about 20" dia., birch around basketball dimension (in the picture), and small maple. The hitch held without fail on all trees. Predator did not slip whatsoever and did mild jump/push tests without fail.
