anywhere to buy dynamic climbing rope by the foot?

I just ordered this rope from DanO 9mm.And safeguard. Thanks for your help
That is a really good rope. My Safeguard has never slipped. In the video I posted above I tied a slip knot before climbing with the Safeguard. If tied in the proper direction and the rope slips, the knot will jam in the Safeguard. I like backups just in case. If I am already setup to do it I usually will.

I was looking on the Sterling website and Oplux is not listed. Maybe it is being discontinued. They have CanyonLux which seems to have the same specifications.

I just bought the 9,8mm boa rope to use as my tether at height and as my tether when one-sticking. Going to continue using my 11mm static rope for SRT.

After doing some more reading, I have decided that a dynamic tether could only make me safer. My plan is to Tie the tail end of my tether to the main loops of my RCH with a figure 8 follow through, then to use a delta link w/ a scaffold knot to attach to the tree and a distel hitch to position my bridge along the tether.

Nice guy dave says in a video all the ropes are static at wesspur.
Also says something like, any rope with less than 8% is static.

We need to get a good collective chart on ropes.
Are they stiff, size, weight, knot ability, how they work when wet, break strength and safe working load as well as which devices have been proven to work on that rope. Maybe a few other metrics..

Old thread I know but the rope questions just keep coming.

I forgot minimum purchase price.

have some on the way with a tight eye sewn

anyone know how this stuff holds knots?

i bought enough that i might make a bridge out of it also

i have some 10 mm dynamic rope and it just doesn't hold a tight knot, had to wrap a ranger band around the knot to feel like it wasn't going to work lose over time

I ordered some stuff from them last year and they are a great place to do business with!
One of the things I got was a tether made with the Swift Protect. It's pretty sweet but I don’t use it very much.
I really didn't like one-sticking with it because I looze quite a bit of progress due to the stretching...

I have had no problem with it holding a knot. I use it for my linesman's belt and have used it for my tether but went to one sticking and using resc tech now.
