AR kits. What's a good one?

My boss has built 10-15 and he recommended the bear creek stuff....he's got the fixtures so we can buy the unmachined stuff and save same money. I'm torn between 7.62x39 and 350 legend...I think it will just boils down to what they have in stock when I'm ready to blow the money

I wouldn’t go 7.62x39 unless you are one of those weird AK guys with plenty of ammo. Like 98jxe said, .300blk does everything it does and more with subs. .350 legend is interesting. I have a 6.5 grendel that is great for hunting and (what I consider to be) long range plinking. My next one will be .300blk pistol for hogs and probably deer to.

Also, you can’t beat the Larue mbt-2S trigger for price and feel. Especially if you catch it on sale.

Me personally I don't care about caliber honestly....and don't know or wanna know all the technical garbled gar balls....I've owned AR AK sks fn....I kinda got outta guns before there was all these new caliber choices...I like to bow hunt but slowly realizing I should have a good deer rifle

Awesome congrats. Brownells has a really good video series and will walk you through step by step if your unsure.

Well. I went the PSA in a 5.56. got all my parts, and picked up a punch kit. Time to see if I can put it all together.
Bend the punch that matches up with your bolt catch rollpin. Will save you from scratchin your lower. That advice makes no sense right now but it will…

Wheeler makes good tools, I've got their punch set and bench block. The bolt catch roll pin is a PITA. I've done it with padded gooseneck pliers before, but I prefer the purpose-made punch with the relieved flat side.
