I'm just hoping to be able to go, the units we hunt and access roads into them are all closed due to the Pine Gulch fire.

I'm leaving on friday the fourth. Will be out there until the 20th, or I tag a mulie and an elk. Coming down to the wire on preparation, and attempting to sell a house, and ramping up a new facility at work has me a bit anxious, to say the least.

The fires scare me, I have a place in Colorado now.
 
Was gonna leave Thursday but gonna wait on the hurricane to pass and make sure family is ok before we head north. Leaving Saturday at the latest.
 
We are day by day now, fire is being contained more everyday, need rain and no high winds. Good luck to all.

Got back from Colorado last week. Shot cow elk, bear, missed a bull, with my bow. Took nice mulie with rifle.
