Also, if you’re looking to gain some FOC, don’t skip over Rayzr feathers. I’ve shot them a bunch and I love them in a 4 fletch.
Production turkeys are almost entirely white any more would be my guess. That means more production cost to add bars.I had a difficult time finding gateway rayzr in solid colors last time I went to restock....ended up with true flight 2" feather and they are on par with gateway.....
Why on earth are barred feathers 3x more expensive than same feather solid color?
What's the deal with specifying right wing or left wing? Spin certainly, but how?Production turkeys are almost entirely white any more would be my guess. That means more production cost to add bars.
This may be a natural turkey feather, undyed, and thus are labor intensive to produce, just a guess.I get that they have an addition process to the production....but $35 for 100 jumps to $82 if they got stripes.... seems steep
The stripes increase performance so they demand a higher priceI get that they have an addition process to the production....but $35 for 100 jumps to $82 if they got stripes.... seems steep
No duh....that's why I want themThe stripes increase performance so they demand a higher price

Has anyone gone through the effort of cutting then paper tuning, and cutting them paper tuning? I.e., Have you tried it with, say, three arrows until you find a sweet spot?
Thanks for the insight, and "dry" humor...Tuned bow and tuned arrow and high foc% allow for wet feather broadhead flight? I don't know....pretty sure they sell stuff to keep them dry if u worried about it ....Walmarts got campdry
My advice would be to cut them as short as you feel comfortable with.
Square both ends!
Use the smallest vanes you can get to keep broadheads flying true.
Make sure your bow is tuned before fletching up an arrow to try.
Have throw away towels and qtips at the ready to wipe up epoxy and what not.
Clean everything really well after test fits and before gluing.

Like a Lazer. Very impressiveRecently, I've purchased arrows and all of the necessary components, except vanes and nocks.
