What saw do y’all use? I need one, every time I order arrows I have to take them to a Buddy’s house to get chopped. And does anyone have an extra they want to part with?

I have one. It’s a Apple Archery Products Arrow saw. If interested PM me and I can share pics

I roll the arrows into a rotozip mounted to a bench. It works ok but I should have a dedicated unit by now.

check out harbor freight, they a couple small cutoff saws for pretty fair price.

I’ve used this one to cut many arrows when I was tuning arrows for recurve. The blades wear out quick but very cost effective alternative.

I use harbor freight saw with a guide and bought the abrasive discs off ebay. Cut a bunch of carbon arrows and on same disc.

I use this same one as well and I think it’s hard to beat for the money. You can get the shafts almost perfect aligned with the vice and get yourself a cheap arrow square, got my on eBay for like $8, and you’ll be in good shape.

Going to buy one tomorrow. What discs did you guys get to cut the arrows?

I’ve been using the one it comes with and if you cut slowly it’s not bad but if you cut quick it can fray the edges. Nothing you to bad you can’t smooth with some sand paper but a fine disc for cutting like a dremel tool cutting blade that fits it would be better.

I made an arrow cutting jig with the HF saw, a 2x6, some angle aluminum and a yardstick. All said and done, in about $50 or so. As long as you go slow, the blade it comes with works well enough.

I don't remember the name. I just searched the size and arbor size on Amazon. I thought they worked much better than the saw tooth blade that came with it. Just cut slow and leave the little clamp loose enough to rotate arrow. I bought a package and I'm still using the first wheel. Here's the link:

I used DIY sportsman's arrow spinner idea and mounted a dremel on piece of decking to hold it in place. The rotary took kit from Walmart was my most expensive piece. Also bought an ASD from etsy cost me about. 30$ for everything
